How do we rodent proof you home or business?
INSPECTION
The first step of rodent-proofing your home or business is to find exactly where all rodent runways and entry point are located. There have been many jobs that we have done where the client and their pest control technician before us have been totally baffled as to how the rodents are getting into the premises. Therefore, you need an expert who knows where to look and what to look for.
ENTRY POINTS
You will almost certainly be amazed at how dexterous rodents can be. They are more than capable of squeezing through an opening that is ¼” inch for mice and ½“ for rats. Just looking for a large opening and trying to seal it up is never going to solve the problem entirely, as rodents are much more cunning and covert than people think.
MATERIAL SELECTION
Once we have located the parts of your home or business that have been compromised and infiltrated, we will evaluate on which rodent proofing material would be the best fit. The selection of materials would be based on durability and bonding capabilities to the surfaces being sealed and rodent resistance of course.
SEALING ENTRY POINTS
We will get to work on sealing and blocking all the entry points and making it rodent-proof. At times countertops, stoves, refrigerators and other furniture or appliances would have to be removed so that the openings can be properly sealed.

RESIDENTIAL
Our mouse control treatment includes light duty rodent proofing. If heavy duty rodent proofing (sink removal, plastering, ect…) is needed Pestrol will provide pricing. Rodent treatment must be purchased and provided before Pestrol can provide pricing for heavy duty rodent proofing. Offer valid to 1,2,3,4-bedroom apartment and/or 1,2,3, 4 family homes in NY & NJ only.
COMMERCIAL
Pestrol, Inc will provide a NO COST, NO OBLIGATION onsite consultation in order to evaluate problem areas, possible solutions and pricing. Pricing will be based on labor, materials, equipment and permits (if needed). All rodent proofing efforts will be provided with maximum safety in mind including any requirements by federal, state and city regulations.
A 50% deposit is required for initial start-up. All remaining balances are due after completion of work.
